The best and easiest way to fuel our bodies is to consume whole foods that are real, unprocessed, non-GMO, and organic (local when available). Our dietary intake should be mostly raw, gluten-free, dairy-free, and primarily plant-based (95%) with at least one serving of fermented food per day. As for animal-based products (5%), only consume organic pasture-raised farmers market or homegrown eggs, not more than twice per month and Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC) certified salmon, Best Aquaculture Practices (BAP) certified Norwegian ocean trout (similar to salmon), or New Zealand king (chinook) salmon not more than once per month.
